Cul Camp 2024

As you are aware Cul Camp was held in Newtownshandrum last week and we are delighted to say that it went off without a hitch. The camp was enjoyed by all participants and they are looking forward to 2024 already. This week the club would like to take the opportunity to thank all who were involved in the organisation and running of Cul Camp. The camp itself was organised by the Juvenile club in conjunction with the camogie club and required lots of planning in the weeks running up to the event. However, it was the willingness of people within the community to give up their time that allowed the camp to run so smoothly. The club extends a big thank you to the supervisors, coaches, teenage assistant coaches and to Tim O’Mahony and Sean Griffin who coordinated the day to day running of the camp. We would also like to acknowledge Kilmallock Credit Union who delivered goodie bags to the camp on the Wednesday to the joy of all the players. Overall we were blessed with the weather and the poorer conditions on the Friday were quickly forgotten on the arrival of the ice-cream van. Once again a big thank you to all who supported the camp last week and we look forward to seeing everybody again next year.
