On Sunday 18th of September at 12:30, a memory walk will take place at the GAA Club walkway, as part of the Alzheimer’s society of Ireland Memory Walk campaign. 

September is World Alzheimer’s month and the memory walk event aims to raise awareness and vital funds for dementia supports. 

The event held in Newtown will be coordinated by Gillian Ryan on the day. Those who wish to join can register at
