25 years since Newtownshandrum claimed the Intermediate County Championship after a replay against Cloyne. The first match, played in Ballincollig ended on a scoreline of 1-10 to 2.07. The replay was held in Pairc Uí Chaoimh where Newtownshandrum emerged victorious on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-09. Sunday 3rd November 1996 will live long in the memory. #newtowngaa #countychampions96
