A great mornings entertainment was had in Newtownshandrum today where the Chris and Brian Morrissey tournament was played. Teams from Murroe Boher, Na Piarsaigh and Portumna joined our own u12’s for a morning of hurling. Eamon Morrissey Brian’s dad presented the Brian Morrissey cup to the na Pairsaigh captains while later Chris’daughter  Olive Coughlan presented the Chris Morrissey cup to Darragh Morrissey captain of our own u12’s. Congratulation's and well done to the Shandrum u12’s and their management team. Thanks also to everybody who helped to organise and run the tournament.
